MLK DAY

Yesterday was Martin Luther King day. To be honest, I did not put much thought into the significance of the day. However, while I was scrolling through my Pinterest account this late morning I ran into this little sign by Jessika Hepburn.

When I saw this poster I felt a sense of conviction. I wondered....how many times has my Father put instances in my life TO DO THE RIGHT THING, but I ignore the opportunity because I am scared. I realized then, a day later, why Martin Luther King was so important....not only in American history, but also for the Kingdom of my Father. Mr. Luther took the opportunity he was given and let the Lord lead him as he stepped out onto the waves. The waves of hate and anger, injustice and violence, and persecution. His life changed millions.

I have taken this realization today to revaluate the times I am given to make a difference. To look into and focus on how I will use and search for those opportunities in the future. To change one life or maybe even millions FOR HIM.

So today I challenge you to....Think on it. Pray on it. Grow on it.

Living Love,
Laurey
